There are a few differences! The bottles in the main collection are created using recycled glass in a machine, while the handblown bottles are created individually by one of our local artists. Additionally, the collection bottles are approximately half the size of the handblown bottles (with the exception of the Frogs Asking For a King balm), making them easier for everyday use and tighter spaces.

No! Because the vessels are truly handblown, every bottle will slightly vary in size, color, and striations. You are buying a truly one of a kind piece of art!

No, all of the products use the same size refill! If you have a handblown bottle, you can empty the entire contents of the refill into your vessel right away. If you have a collection bottle, empty about half of the refill into your vessel and then save the other half in a cool dark place until you are ready to use it.

When we say all of our products are double sized, we mean that we took the market average size for each type of product and simply doubled it. For example, the average size exfoliating cleanser is 3.3oz, while ours is 6.7oz. This means you can use the products for twice as long and repurchase half as often!

Due to the unique nature and fragility of our vessels, all items and products are final sale. However, if a vessel or product is defective or damaged upon arrival, we will make it right and replace the item (see below).

While these products are meticulously formulated, we can never guarantee that someone will not have an adverse reaction to a product. We always recommend doing a patch test before use, as well as reading the ingredients thoroughly.

Absolutely not. At Scorpion and Toad we test all of our formulas on ourselves! 

While several of the products happen to be vegan, we do not formulate with veganism in mind. We include ingredients such as beeswax and honey powder in several of our formulas.
